Will CML Images cover R&S Topics?

Hi there,

I know you are provided images with the purchase of Cisco CML. I was planning to do it this way, as I know they are coming from a good source. Will the images provided in CML work for the labs provided in classes like “CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure”? I know CML doesn’t provide things like SD-WAN images, but for simple EIGRP and Layer 2 stuff work with CML images? I know I can go and re-create the labs myself with vIOS images, but I’d rather save some time and have them pre-made.

Here are the provided images with a CML purchase.

IOSv and IOSvL2
NX-OSv and NX-OS 9000v
IOS XRv and IOS XRv 9000
IOS XE (CSR1000v)
ASAv

They will have like for like functionality but you will need to re-create the labs based on the IOSv and IOSvL2 templates in EVE. You cannot change the original shared topology device to non-IOL without rebuilding since the template provided in the labs are IOL.

You’ll be fine for the labs. I use EVE for SDWAN and if you are taking the CCIE EI with KBITS, you will have access to their racks for the SDA portion.
