vEdge unreachable in Main Dashboard after installing certificates (issuing chassis-id and token id)

I was able to issue a chassis-id and token-id to 2 vEdge devices from vManage. The vEdge devices were able to get the chassis-id and a serial number/token generated for them. However, I have been waiting for a while for the main dashboard only to see the 2 edge devices in the down state - never to come in the up state. The error message shows “unreachable” for the 2 vEdge devices - even though I can ping the two devices from vManage and vBond. How can I troubleshoot the issue?
