SD-WAN vEdge Template deployment

Hi Team,

Finally I am doing SD-WAN lab, but I am stuck where we need to configure edge device through templates. Below is what I am getting.

[8-Feb-2021 21:18:35 UTC] Configuring device with feature template: BR-DEV-TEMP
[8-Feb-2021 21:18:36 UTC] Generating configuration from template
[8-Feb-2021 21:18:43 UTC] Checking and creating device in vManage
[8-Feb-2021 21:18:47 UTC] Device is offline
[8-Feb-2021 21:18:47 UTC] Updating device configuration in vManage
[8-Feb-2021 21:18:55 UTC] Configuration template BR-DEV-TEMP scheduled to be attached when device comes online. To check the synced state, click Configuration > Devices > Device Options

Although devices are not offline and I can ping 3 edges from vmanage

Any help in this regard. Thanks

Mahir

Hi Mahir,

Try changing the Organization to “Viptela LLC” when you are configuring CSR with the Enterprise CA Server.

Domain: Kbits.live
Organization Unit: KBITS Organization: Viptela LLC

Thank you so much, I just changed the Organization Unit and kept the domain as my own. and It worked.
Thank you once again KB.

Regards,

@KB-KBITS
When I was trying to generate a CSR for vManage, it was constantly failing with this error
Error:
failed to process device request - error type application error tag operation-failed error info

Then, I changed the domain name to “viptela.com” yet kept the Organization to Viptela LLC. This time it worked

Also, a place to see the cert process in CLI:
