We have 2 ASA not connected in HA pair from past 7-8 months due to which we have single point of failure and all the new configs we are doing in current active unit so there is difference in config of the 2 boxes. Now we want to connect them in HA, how the config synchronisation will work after we conect the HA cable, will it delete the old config from standby box and replicate the whole config from active unit or just replicate the missing config?? Any suggestions!
If it will replicate the missing config only then can we separately upload the config to standby box with active box config & then connect them in HA to minimize the Downtime??
